New York: 126.6K Medicaid, 68.4K *new* QHPs (UPDATED)

Dan Goldberg of Capital New York reports that there have been 40K additional enrollments in NY since the previous update, which ran through Thursday the 11th:

NY enrolled 40k more since last Thursday. # inc. Medicaid and QHP. no breakdown yet. #Obamacare cc: @charles_gaba @charlesornstein

I'll update this as details come in, but a 60/40 split would make it around 24K Medicaid & 16K private policies, for totals of:

  • 126K Medicaid
  • 68K Private Policies (new)

It's important to remember that the 68K QHP figure does not include renewals (whether manual or automatic).

Again, safe to assume at least a 1:1 ratio, so I'm going with a total of at least 136K QHPs for New York to date.

UPDATE 8:20pm: OK, this still doesn't include precise numbers, but it confirms the 40K and 60/40 split numbers, as well as that the number runs through 12/16:

ALBANY -- The number of new enrollees in the state's online health insurance market, NY State of Health, rose to almost 195,000 by the end of Tuesday, according to Donna Frescatore, the market's executive director. That's up 40,000 since Dec. 12.

About 60 percent of new enrollees have signed up for Medicaid, Frescatore said. The numbers do not include New Yorkers who have renewed coverage after enrolling in a health plan in the market's first season.

With rounding, the total is 1K higher than I had, FWIW.
